During the mid 1980s, Lots of
newspaper showed older photos of Michael as a teenager how his face had
changed. Some doctors think that he had surgery ten times or more on his face.
Both of his parents were African-American, but clearly his skin was becoming
much lighter. But many people thought that he was paying doctors to change his
skin.
In July 1987, Michael’s third
album Bad came out. Music fans all around the world were excited, and the album
sold well. Rolling Stone music magazine said it was ‘ richer and better’ than Thriller.
The video for the title song was made by
famous movie director Martin Scorsese. Although it cost almost two million
dollars to make, many people laughed at it and joked about Michael Jackson
trying to look mean.
