Meeting

A group of writers and producer
began an exciting new film project in the summer 1977. It would have some of
America’s top African-American singers. Diana Ross was chosen as Dorothy , and
Michael Jacksons was asked to play the part of the Scarecrow. Michael moved to
New York city to make the film . Working on The Wiz was hard at times but
Michael loved it. When filming had finished ,Michael return to Los Angeles to
work next album with his brothers.
Quincy had begun his long career
in the world of jazz music and they didn’t think that he could produce a pop
album. But together the young singer and the music producer were a perfect
team. They recorded it several times,
but each time he cried. The album came out in 1979, and it was a big hit. More
than eight million copies of the album were sold around the world.
