Easy as 1, 2 , 3!’
In 1972, the Jacksons continued to make albums and tour. In
the same year ,Michael recorded his first solo album but he did not get his
first number one record until he sang a song about a pet rat! Now the Jacksons had two different music
careers with Motown – the band ‘s and Michael’s solo work . But , after their
early success, The Jacksons 5’s album sales started falling.
The Jacksons 5 recorded 469 songs at Motown and they weren’t
allowed to write any them . But the Jacksons boys were ready to write and play
their own music – and Michael knew this. Michael felt bad but he realized that
he and his brothers had no choice. Soon
after this Jacksons met and voted to leave Motown.
